Super Eagles Emerge AFCON 2013 Champions!

Nigeria’s Super Eagles have won the African Cup of Nations 2013, after a superb strike by Sunday Mba put the now ‘flightful’ birds in the lead and secured a 1-0 victory.

We join the Super Eagles and all Nigerians in celebrating this win. President Jonathan finally has something worthwhile to add to his CV as the one positive event that happened during his tenure.

This is pretty much the best time to be Nigerian….

Congratulations to Emmanuel Emenike for winning the Golden Boot at the tournament as he was the highest goal scorer. Mikel also won the Man of The Match for his quick thinking, extra amazing passes and  pure awesomeness on the field.

Even more celebrations are in order as we also celebrate a new entry in the Guinness Book of World Records for the longest time a trophy was ever held by one individual for so long. Yobo actually held the AFCON trophy for about 127 hours. You know he wanted it!

I wonder what Osaze Odemgingie has to say about this win.
